With about 2.5 weeks notice I moved from the Metro DC area to Seoul, South Korea to teach English. These are my dispatches from the East.

Travel Question
I can't get a flight to Bangkok right now (I'm on a waiting list) for my winter break. There are available flights to Vietnam. Should I just go for Vietnam and do Thailand another time or play the odds on Thailand? And if I go to Vietnam should I start in Hanoi or Ho Chi Min?
I don't know, but I'll ask my old boss, who has traveled extensively around that region of the world. I'll send him an email tonight when I get home from work (if not sooner)

Due to life experience, Viet Nam sounds very frighting to me....
but I am sure that it would be very interesting.
